Why did Microsoft Word become Microsoft Works Word Processor on my laptop? - word processor laptop

Have used my laptop, Microsoft Office, but the trial has expired, so I am Microsoft Office, which I installed on my other computer. Recently, I realized that it is not, but Microsoft Word word processor. Is this an older version? Your opinion?
